How TackleTag works.
Can I see catches from other fishing spots?
No. You can only see spot pages for places you have personally been to and unlocked. Public catch cards hide the exact spot until you unlock it.
Can I save more than one location?
Yes. Each QR scan unlocks that spot for the browser you are using, so you can keep multiple unlocked spot pages on the same device.
Do I need an account?
No. You can scan, unlock, and upload without an account. Email sign-in helps preserve unlocked spots if you switch phones, clear browser data, or use another device.
Can I upload old catches?
Yes. Photo metadata can prefill catch date, and you can edit it. Future dates are blocked.
Are QR signs official?
Only admin-approved signs become active. Permission status is tracked before signs are posted.
